Music and event trucking company EST has taken delivery of six brand new DAF XF 105.460 left hand drive space cabs with Euro 5 exhaust emission and low noise certification. The east London trucking company is delighted to now run a fleet of 15 Euro 5 standard trucks, the latest investment in a number of measures EST has taken to reduce their harmful emissions. EST’s trucks now produce particle emissions 25% below the EEV (Enhanced Environmentally friendly Vehicles) standard.
EST is committed to enhancing its green credentials, and is consequently updating their fleet at an accelerated rate to keep up with the increasingly stringent emission directives in place across Europe, as well as enabling them to meet the demands of the busy year ahead including, Star Wars, Michael Bublé and Rod Stewart.
Each truck is fitted with dual fuel tanks giving them a range in excess of 2,200 miles enabling drivers to access cheaper fuel across Europe. In addition, each truck boasts independent air conditioning enabling drivers to sleep comfortably without having to run the engine, super air seats, fridges and enhanced radio / CD players.
EST has also invested in six new Lawrence David Low Ride Mega box vans each with duel height suspension, additional locking bars and audible alarms to maximise security. The trailers comply with the 4m European height restriction and run on 445 x 45R x 19.5 mega super single tyres.
